There have been talks of a new Assassin’s Creed game in which will continue the Assassin’s Creed: 2 story ever since the game was released in November which Ubisoft hopes to release between April 2010 and May 2011. This game will however be a spin-off game and essentially be known as Assassin’s Creed: 2.5… But will be called Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will follow on from the end of Assassin’s Creed: 2 and will be based around Rome where one of the temples lies, this temple was where Ezio learned about the prophet… Ezio will have to travel to Rome and use his new Assassin skills to bring down the Templar Order and putting an end to their greed and corruption.
Ezio will be able to equip himself with a few new weapons which were shown on Ubisoft’s teaser website, these weapons include Axes, Fans, Syringes, Daggers, a Claw, and a really painful weapon known as the Switchblade, you can find these new weapons on Ubi’s website found in the sources below.
Ubisoft have planned and also announced that the game will come with a multiplayer, where the multiplayer switches the story so that you are aiding the Templar Order by using Abstergo to train as an Assassin and help hunt down the Assassins. Ubisoft also hope to deliver a wide range of characters each with their own signature weapons and assassin techniques.
The game will be released this fall for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3(October 2010 according to Amazon), Pre-Ordering the game now however will give you an in-game exclusive multiplayer character, no details on who this multiplayer character might be.
